This is the third installment in our Santa Rosa news trilogy, and we are beyond excited to announce that the moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. A moment 10 years in the making: Sports Basement Santa Rosa is up and running...and biking and swimming!

That's right! Today, June 28th, is our soft-open and our doors are finally swinging. Products are stocked, our couch cushions are fluffed, and our staffletes are excited to meet you (they’ve been talking about it for months). And while there’s no store like a Sports Basement store, no Sports Basement store is the same. Santa Rosa’s store has it’s own local personality from our signs to our couches. Don’t worry though, you’ll still see our green Sports Basement charm (read about it here).

Locally inspired signs? Check.

Fluff-tested couches? Check.

Now that we have many carefully curated products in the store, we want to focus on you! We'd love to hang out with you both in store and out. Hosting meetings and events is one of our favorite things to do so reach out to request our community space.

We hear that the North Bay has some wicked mountain biking trails; we’d love to hear your recommendations and work with your group to organize a ride. Afterward, we can talk shop and maybe exchange a bike pun or two, it’ll be….off the chain.

Since it’s basically our Santa Rosa store’s birthday, we’re celebrating with a Grand Opening day on July 15th. It’s going to be a real party with food, special guests, and a raffle! You will have to bring your own party hat, though. 10% of profits made that day will go to Santa Rosa's own NorCal High School Mountain Biking League, one of our newest Basementeer beneficiaries.

Speaking of Basementeers, we are lookin’ for some awesome, new North Bay beneficiaries! The Basementeers program has donated to a lot of amazing beneficiaries (940 to be exact) and we want to give our new North Bay communities some love, too. Plus, our Santa Rosa customers can become Basementeers for free (only for a little while, so take action soon!). Learn more and sign up at the register or online.
