Afternoon Virtual Yoga
Tuesdays, 3pm-4pm pst
Margaret is a Certified yoga instructor and superstar staffer at our Berkeley Sports Basement.
Join us for 45 minutes of vinyasa yoga with Berkeley's own Margaret Sun! Margaret will take you through a series of poses to get you energized enough to power through your Tuesday afternoon.
SB P.E. Class: Kid's Yoga with Janet
Wednesdays, 2:30-3:30pm PST
NO CLASS ON NOVEMBER 25
Join Sports Basement and our resident kids' Yogi, Janet, as we provide a free distance learning PE class for your kids. Janet combines the use of imagination, music and games to create a fun and interactive environment. We use yoga poses, breathing exercises and mindfulness activities to help developing children explore and play. This class is geared for elementary school aged kids (5-10) but all are welcome to attend!
Circuit Training with Jaimie
Wednesdays, 4pm-5pm pst
Join certified trainer Jaimie for a circuit training class is for all fitness levels. No traditional equipment required, most workouts will be bodyweight focused. Circuits will be performed in a timed AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible) format so exercisers can adjust their own workout intensity.
Morning Virtual Yoga with Jean
Thursdays, 10am-11am pst
SPECIAL THANKSGIVING DAY CLASS FROM 9:30AM-11AM
Join us for morning yoga with Jean on Thursdays from 10am-11am. Jean has taught at Sports Basement for over five years! She'll be providing a relaxing flow to your own home. Just make sure to mute your mic when you join so everyone can have their moment of zen!
HIIT at Home with Gabe
Fridays, 1:30pm to 2pm pst
Every Friday at 1:30 PM, join personal trainer, Gabe Schloss for a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout using common things found around the house. Friday is a full body workout, no muscles left behind.
Community Yoga with Ashley & Kristine
Sundays, 11am-12pm pst
San Francisco's Community Class has gone virtual! Join one of our regular SB Community yoga instructors for a lovely morning flow. We can still break a sweat together! Warm up your body and improve your flexibility, strength and concentration. This is an all levels class and everyone (including pets) is welcome to join! A Conversation With Will “Akuna” Robinson, Triple Crown Thru-Hiker
Years of dealing with PTSD from military service and depression led Will “Akuna” Robinson to the outdoors. An injury cut his 2016 PCT thru-hike attempt short but the time spent in nature was life changing. Since that first year, he went on to complete the Pacific Crest Trail (2017), Appalachian Trail (2018) and Continental Divide Trail (2019) becoming the first black male to complete the Triple Crown of Hiking.
The journey became a mission to share the healing power of nature with veterans, people of color and everyone who does not fit the stereotype of an outdoorsy person.

Outside IN with Cannondale athletes Ted & Laura King
This week we are featuring Cannondale athletes Ted & Laura King. Ted is a 10-year world tour professional cyclist, who raced in the TDF and twice at the Giro D'Italia and current two time champ of the Dirty Kanza. Laura King is a professional athlete and self proclaimed endurance sport junkie, now rooted in Vermont with Ted and their daughter Hazel. Her biggest joy (outside of Hazel) is introducing other women to cycling. The Kings will be filling us in on their recent gravel riding and van tour adventures as well as their gravel event, Rooted.
