Aiare 1 Avalanche class
This AIARE Level One Avalanche Class gives students a risk management framework to aid in planning and executing trips into avalanche terrain. The course also gives you practical experience on two full days of backcountry skiing/snowboarding providing a model for how to make your own decisions when you travel in the backcountry after the class.
Backpacking Yosemite: Half Dome
Backpack to Little Yosemite Valley and experience the summit of Half Dome! This is a rare opportunity as permits are nearly impossible to secure - we've got you covered. Starting from the floor of the Valley, we’ll attempt to summit Yosemite’s most iconic and awe inspiring landmark. It’s not an easy journey to get to the 8,836 foot summit, but we’ll be rewarded with unparalleled views!
Backpacking Yosemite: Glen Aulin
Experience the spectacular beauty of the Yosemite backcountry on our most beginner friendly route from Tuolumne Meadows to Waterwheel Falls. We will stay at the beautiful Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp for two nights, allowing participants plenty of time for rest and relaxation among high mountain waterfalls and rivers. Trails on this route are well maintained with minimal elevation gain and loss.
Backpacking Yosemite: Ten Lakes
Join us on this moderate but breathtaking route to the spectacular Ten Lakes basin in Yosemite's high country - a perfect introduction for bold first time backpackers or intermediates. This route is perfect for those looking to discover the solitude of the Yosemite backcountry by getting away from the Valley crowds. Highlights include swimming in pristine alpine lakes, flower-filled meadows, and stunning views from exposed ridgelines.
Backpacking Yosemite: Vogelsang
One of the most underrated areas of Yosemite National Park, Vogelsang (German for bird song) offers spectacular high country views. Visit secluded and picturesque alpine lakes, meadows, and peaks on this three day journey that will not disappoint the intermediate nor advanced backpacker. We will stay at the beautiful Vogelsang High Sierra Camp for two nights, allowing participants plenty of time for rest and relaxation.
