Great Bike Rack, but I agree with one of the reviews regarding the front tire coming off the rack. The first time it happened I was going over a bridge on the Thruway and the front tire came out and I was dragging my front tire on the road. The second time was in Vermont going up a dirt road and the same thing happened. I now use a rubber tie strap around the front tire securing it down. It is an EMTB, weighing 55 lbs, so maybe that's the problem. I have a carbon frame, so only bike racks that touch the tires are acceptable.

We needed this rack as it seemed the highest rated for weight of 2 bikes. We have two heavy gravel ebikes and this rack works for us. Easy to put bikes on securely, a good lock, and folds up smooth and secure when not in use. Sets into the hitch well and then knob tightener is easy to use to make the rack secure to the hitch. Use video instructions you find online to clarify some installation steps but easy to do in 30 minutes or less.

The Thule T2 Pro XTR is an excellent bike rack that is easy to use and every detail has been well thought out. It is super easy to take on and off. The "hook" and knob tightening is simple and make it easy, and the wheels are no gimmick, they really help in moving and storing the rack. Loading and unloading bikes is also easy, with the arms adjusting smoothly, and the bike(s) fit well in the trays. And it looks nice and clean. The only weakness, as others have mentioned, are the directions. But watch the videos instead. They were more helpful than the paper instructions. I'm very happy with this rack so far.

I have been using the rack for a month so far. It is the most stable rack I have ever used. It's easy to attach bikes of different sizes. The only negative is that it is pretty heavy. If you are able to use the wheels it isn't a problem at all.

Bought this rack just over a month ago and couldn't be happier. I used to own the previous model years ago and the new features are everything that was missing in the past. The hitch mounting design is so much faster and easier to use and the ability to secure tire widths up to 5 inches works perfect for my winter fat bike. Thule really is a leader in the bike rack industry.
