Packing for a camping trip can be intimidating, which is why we make it easy with our camping packages! We've grouped together everything you need for a trip off the grid - we're talkin' tents, sleeping bags and pads, power stations, lanterns, coolers, furniture, and even gear for the ultimate camp kitchen. Of course, all our camp gear rentals are available a la carte as well, so you can build your own camping package too! Visit our Walnut Creek store or reserve your camping rentals online today. All rentals can be found in our rentals department, located on your right as soon as you enter the store.

Online reservations have a minimum lead time to ensure your gear will be available at the store you choose. Many same-day rentals are available in store, but the selection may be limited.

At big National Parks like Yosemite, reservations open can anywhere from 1 to 5 months in advance..."

While the idea of boiling water and pouring it in a bag is pretty simple, there are still some important considerations to make to ensure you get a tasty meal. Rachel Leung, SB Alumni and knowledgeable backpack enthusiast, has created a short checklist to guide you through your backcountry cooking experience.
