It's so nice not to have to sit down or even bend over to get in and out of the bindings!

I'm a new snowboarder but long time skier, and when I first tried snowboarding it was unfathomable to me that you can't simply step into snowboard bindings like you can for ski bindings. Enter these bindings! They're great. Take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt though, the only other snowboard bindings I have to compare to were really awful rental bindings that weren't the step on kind. Couple things to note, which I understand are very typical with step on bindings. First, when you "step on" you have to make sure the notch in the back heel of your boot slides down into the slot in the back of the binding, it's almost like a dresser drawer coming off it's rails if you miss. Then, push down with your heel until you hear a click so you know it's secure. After you push down with the ball of your foot and toes until you hear two more clicks, one on either side of your foot, which secures it in two more places. Then you're done. When you're standing, aligning that boot heel so it slides right into the slot while remaining balanced in a wide stance and not having your board slip all over the place while you stand on one leg trying to get your other foot in took some practice for me. I assume all this is normal. Other things to note, my boyfriend, who is an experienced snowboarder, said he had an easy time installing these bindings for me. He made sure they were compatible before he installed them on my Capita Space Metal Fantasy 2023 board, and it looks lovely together. I paired these with the Burton Limelight step on boots which are meant to work with the step on bindings, and I had no problems there either. I got every piece of this kit deeply discounted through Sports Basement during their end of season sale and am super happy with the whole set up. I started learning a lot faster once I had a nice comfy kit to learn with. Very happy with my purchase.
