Super Rebound Compound provides durable shock absorption in the heel to help reduce torque and allow for a smooth transition into the midfoot. The Vibram® TC5+ outsole is designed with a technical compound with great overall performance for multisport, outdoor, mountain bike, snow sports, and water sports. Its non-marking formula delivers an all-around balance of grip, traction, durability, flexibility.

I have my shoes for about a year. I have had several Merrell's in the past. I usually love their shoes. But I am quite disappointed with this pair. i have difficulty finding shoes that fit because i wear a size 5 Wide. Most shoes don't offer shoes that small. Fortunately Merrill does. I love my new sneakers. It's nice to wear shoes that fit and do not pinch my toes!
Jungle hiking in Thailand

The shoes held up really well, I took them caving in muddy caves in Thailand. I trekked through the jungle in them for about 1 month, They were wet and muddy quite often. What often happens with shoes in this environment is that the glue holding the bottom to the sneaker falls apart. This did not happen to the Merrell's. Unfortunately they were so covered with mud, I did not feel that it was safe to bring them back to the USA even if I washed them. For fear that they may contain a foreign pathogen, I had to abandon my trusted shoes in a foreign land.

I have such difficulty finding shoes that fit my wide duck feet with my narrow heel, and my sore big toe joints. These shoes are wide enough across the toe box, narrow enough in the heel, and have a soft, breathable, flexible mesh upper that doesn't bother my toe joints. Comfortable right out of the box! A pleasure to walk in!

I wear these at work. I am on my feet for about 12 hrs a day. These give me the comfort I need, to do that. I had to recently switch to wide, and it has made a big difference .

Very roomy toe box, and stable in rugged terrain. The Moab 3 is comfortable to walk in right out of the box. Performed very well on sliding gravel and rocky terrain.

Good grippy sole, nice deep and wide shoe for orthotics. I find the top is soft and not as structured and no ability to lock the heel, which makes it a good shoe for level ground and not hills so much.
