Great trail shoe

Bought these for trail runs. My old trail shoes didn't have enough cushioning. These are great, and happened to be on sale when I ordered several styles to try. Same super cushioning you get in the road shoes, but in a sturdier trail runner. The tread on these is substantial, so I will use these ex...

Runs narrow, go wide

I owned a Hoka already which I loved. It's fitting was very comfortable. But, since it didn't have a Vibram sole many cactus needles would penetrate trough the sole. Reason for which I recently bought a waterproof North Face hiking shoe. However, that shoe was so narrow that all my toes would go num...

I normally don't wear wide but I think I could've used a wide in these. Trail running is newer to me so I wasn't too sure what to expect. I definitely love my speedgoat pair a lot more.

I like the shoes, they are comfortable but only thing is I would design the tongue a bit thicker and longer to make it easier to pull up all the way before tying the shoe . Really like the thick grooves and tread on the shoes for extra support and grip.

I have a semi wide toebox and a small bunion on my pinky toe so these shoes were a little too hard edged for my 4 foot if you have the right foot I'm sure these feel wonderful there's certainly cute

Soles Chipped & Cracked Paint

I work 12 hour days. The Bondi are so much better for comfort. After the 2nd wear the black paint started to crack & flake off. I've been trying to upload a picture & the website keeps circling. For the price & the quality brand this is touted to be, it's unacceptable.

I like the style and color very much and thinking abt my other Hokas, I ordered it online right away. However, it wasn't cushioned and not comfortable as compared to Clifton 7. Since I like how it looks, I just use it with comfortable gel insoles.

I took this out on a trail running weekend. It was a lot of rock scrambling and scree. After the two days, the tread was ragged on all sides, the lugs worn down, and just overall beat up. The Mafate does not have the durability that I would expect. Kind of disappointed.

I had terrible pain in my feet from the shoe. It was well cushioned and I expected it to work well for me. It did not. I have very flat feet. Might be why.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

I've worn this particular pair TWICE and each time, BLISTERS on both heels!!!!!! My other 3 pair have never been problematic. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

That’s never fun! When feet aren’t properly secured, blisters can occur. When you want to run off-road, strap into the adventurous Speedgoat 5. Nimble, grippy and lots of fun- move forward with our easy exchange process, bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.
