Asics approach for the GT-1000™ 12 shoe was to modernize the shape and make it more comfortable. It's designed for an active lifestyle and is functional for running or wearing it to the gym. ​The shoe is reimagined with a soft mesh upper, an updated heel shape, and a more comfortable sockliner. These features are also met with a tongue wing construction that helps provide a more supportive fit.​ LITETRUSS® technology is placed on the midsole’s inside angle to reduce pronation. It helps produce a more supportive stride while keeping overpronation at bay.

The update from the 11 to 12 is disappointing. The shoes are at least a half size bigger than the predecessor. The higher back of the heel is annoying and they also feel like they have less cushion than the 11.

These shoes are honestly are a lifesaver. I work 12 hour shifts and I have very little pain after! If you have flat/wide feet - get them!

Love the shoe but the color apricot I thought would be more orange based on the pictures ended up looking pretty much pink in person.

I ordered the black & white so i can wear with anything. Very comfortable w/ nice wide toe box. I use inserts due to foot issues & they fit nicely. They will go on vacation with me.😃
