Gel-Kayano MK
I love these shoes. I have worn Gel Kayanos for many years. When I saw the MK, I had no idea what they were, but after reading about them, I decided to try them out. I have pronation of both feet and have had major surgeries on one foot. These shoes really go the extra mile for my feet-the snug fit a...

blister disaster
please go back to the 26 or 27, the 28 gave me terrible blisters on the side of the ball of my foot - never had this problem with Kayano before - can't run in them - using my old worn down 27 now

Bounce
I love these shoes. I run on the treadmill and attend Zumba classes. Great ankle support!
Great fit
Excellent support. A great fit as always. So nice to have a consistent fit year after year.
Not supportive on uneven surfaces
I have been buying Gel Kayano shoes for many years. Thought I'd try this lighter model. I run a mix of street and beach / sand. On the sand these shoes are not supportive at all. The upper fabric stretches too much, making the foot slide to the side within the shoe. Perhaps ok just for street running, but I will go back to the regular Gel Kayanos.
be careful
My wife has worn Kayanos for 10 years and swears by them. Bought her a pair of the MKs. you fit your foot in it almost like a sock. Gave her a blister on her back heal after first two times she wore them. She's very disappointed and you can't return them after you wear them. The new model has a remolded heel support, surprise.
Wish I Could Have Returned
First pair of Asics and, unfortunately, these are the most uncomfortable running shoes I've tried. If I'm not on perfectly flat terrain, my foot slips side to side in shoe. Even while walking, my foot slips forward. Brought them on a trail because I thought maybe I could repurpose them as walking shoes...ended up with a bruise of the top of my foot because the laces are the only piece of the shoe keeping your foot in place. Would be nice if Asics had a trial period so I could have returned.
Kayano are the best
Kayanos are the best Asics sneakers I've had … I've tried kayano lite, Cumulus and 2,000 kayano still the best
Totally dislike the lip around the ankle
I bought these since they were a great price and 100% regret it. I read the reviews and decided to buy them. The stretchy fabric around the ankle rubs my foot raw through my socks. It's difficult to get my foot into the shoe because it's not easy to loosen the laces. I've broken several nails just trying to get the shoes on.
Not worth the money.
Since the tongue is completely attached to the shoe, it's too tight & also rubs a blister on the top of my foot.
Gel Kayano 28 MK
Have not been tied up in writing review. Just received the ASICS. So far they are comfortable and lightweight.
