Description
Street-approved. Trail tested. Built at the intersection of road and trail, the Challenger 7 has been completely reimagined from the ground up. Combining a simplified mesh upper with a soft new foam, Hoka increased the stack height for a plusher feel and added proprietary rubber to the bottom unit, along with a reimagined outsole design for the best all-terrain ride yet. Inspired by gravel tires, they’ve cued up smaller, tightly spaced lugs in center and larger, more aggressive lugs at the perimeter designed for improved traction on uneven terrain.

Love this shoe.
I love this shoe. It's got comfort and support. I wear it 7 days a week. I have narrow heals and it fits well. I have to go down a half size on hokas in comparison to oboz.

Hoka ruined an incredible design
As someone with wide feet and orthopedic issues (i had a sesamoid removed in 2015), I have to be careful about the shoes I choose. HOKA faithfully served me for 6 years, and they have now narrowed a bunch of their designs so much that they caused nerve pain on the outside of my foot. I am assumin...

second pair I purchased in this style
I like how light weight these are and how they don't have all the excess sole stabilizing material.
Game Changer
I have been a diehard Adidas girl since the 90's. Not anymore, Hoka all the way!
Disappointed this is no longer offered in wide
Good support, adequate for trails
I like the shoe, I love the color combination
I bought this shoe for trail walking, however I have only walked around the neighborhood in them so fat. They are a true 9.5 fit. They fit well, but are a tad stiff. I like that they have lots of traction on the soles so I won't slip on loose gravel and dirt on my hiking paths.
Loved at first but poor quality
This is my second pair of Challengers. They felt great at first but then they fell apart quickly. I've had mine less than 3 months and I only wear them to exercise. The inside of the heel has worn away horribly. There's a big hole that gives me blisters now. I'm so disappointed in the quality of these Hokas.
Love them!
This isn't my first pair of Hoka's and won't be my last, I hope. I've had limited mobility in the past and these definitely help me be able to walk further w/o pain and they have great support too.
My feet are thanking me!
Love this shoe! It literally feels like I'm walking on cushions! I'm very satisfied with my purchase.😊
New Hokas
Narrow for a 8.5 w I did return because my large toe was hurting. I tried to break in and wore for 1 week. I have always bought and wore HOKAS as a nurse that works 12 hr shifts. I need good support and comfort!!
