This running shoe may be worth the extra money for you
I feel compelled to write a review as reviews are often helpful in moving forward or away from a purchase. I enjoy running and run rather than "race". I'm a 57 yr. old female, 145 lbs., with no issues with my feet and enjoy cushioned, neutral shoes. I was attracted by the carbon insert of the Bond...

A bit disappointed
*My husband bought these for me as I didn't want to pay as much for shoes.*I love Hoka Bondi. They were a little more pricey than I was used to paying but after getting my Hoka Bondi 6 pair a couple of years ago, I was sold! They have held up great but were, of course, starting to break down some. I...

Time for another pair?
I work in retail and walk at least 20k steps a day 5 days a week so I have turned to Hoka's - this is my 4th pair. As with my previous pairs, they are worn out by the 6-month mark (start to get a hole in the fabric part by the little toe whether purchased wide or regular sizing). I chose this the Bondi X because of the Podiatric recommendation, however my heels started to hurt pretty badly after a few months of consistent wear. I will not be purchasing this style again.

I would not buy this again
It made my feet hurt. It was uncomfortable in the heels.

New type of tongue design/material?
My last pair of Hokas was a Bondi 8, so I guess it's on me for not looking more closely at the description online. But the tongue on the Bondi 10 is made from very thin fabric and is nothing at all like the thick, padded tongue of the Bondi 8. I find this makes it more difficult to just slip my shoes on like I normally would because the thin materials bunches down under the laces. Also, because it isn't as thick, my feet slide around inside the footbed more, but not enough that I need a smaller size. The footbed itself is still a dream to wear!
I am a bit disappointed in the shoe- not comfortable
The shoe doesn't fit well nor is comfortable- it fit larger than expected now I am stuck wearing it with thicker socks. I have never had issues with my size & I ordered an 8.5- it feels a size larger urghhh I love HOKA but the quality has gone down considerably- I bought 3 pairs sent 2 back they were so bad & ordered a 3rd that doesn't fit well- I may have to return it as well- very disappointed

Nice but I thought there would be more insole cushion
I like them, this is my first pair. They have definitely helped with less impact during my running. However, I thought the insoles would have more cushion.
They rub
I have been wearing Hokas for years. Have tried every style and usually love the Bondi series. Not so much the X. Not as comfortable as the Bondi 8. They fit ... awkwardly. Not quite right. They're sized correctly just uncomfortable. Like a seam is stitched incorrectly and you can feel it. Usually I can wear Hokas right out of their box. Not the Bondi X. They need breaking in.
Heel area shreds in all of them and returned
Headline says it all. It's a horrible defect and so bizarre that Hoka didn't test for this. It happens within a few months of regular use. Please give us a replacement without this defect. The shoes are 210+ and can't believe it. I've bought 4 pairs and happened every time!

We appreciate your feedback and trust that this should not happen with any of our models. We would be happy to evaluate them under our one-year warranty: bit.ly/HOKAWty to see how we can improve your experience.
Extra sole length warning
Great fit. Great look. Except when walking down steps, because of the length of the soles, it was getting caught and scratched when stepping down. I now have to be hyper vigilant about leaving extra space when stepping down to not continually damage the extended rear soles. Bummer that I now have both scratched. Just beware.
not this specific product
I I ordered size 8 but it seems like they are 9 Even if I tie the laces tight, they slip out of my heel when I walk. I would return them but I used them for a whole day. I ordered Bondi 8 and Rincon 3 before and loved them. Bondi x ist not bad quality they don't fit right.
