Aside from the Arch Support complaint, the Shoe is not that bad. I made a full video under Merrell Trail Gove 6 review (2021) and shared details towards the shoe itself and what my thoughts were should you decide to see more visual content. Pros: +Shoe is really well put and the design/style is ...

Wish it was wide as TG4.
I just got this to replace my favorite TG4. I picked size 9.5 instead of 10 as Merrell suggested. Compare to TG4, TG6 is much narrower at the toe. Hope break-in makes this softer and fits me better...but it may not last long.

Nothing like having Merrells on my feet!
Instantly my feet know the wonderful feeling of the cozy confines of a Merrell. They fit well. Very pleased with their look and feel.
Very comfortable
Very comfortable while hiking on trails over rocks and roots. Fit was true to size. Also were worn while walking around Boston for a couple of days. I have 4 Merrell hiking boots and 2 pair of slip on moccasins.
Thin insole
Insole is very thin and not comfortable. Hiking shoes should be comfortable on hikes, this shoe is not. Had to purchase a thicker insole for walking and hiking.
Disappointed
Finally got to use these and am very disappointed. After a few hours of wearing them if felt like an old worn-out shoe. No cushion or support. The Moab Adventure Lace I purchased with it is an awesome shoe.
Did not fit
I ordered the shoes online. The process took a lot longer than expected. I presently own Merrell boots and gym shoes. They are great. However, the two pair of Oakbrook purchased, were regrettably uncomfortable. This does not make them a bad shoe, they just didn't fit and I am in the process returning them.
Width they run wide compared to other brands
Width they run wider than any brand I have bought before
Great shoes!
Very comfortable shoes! I usually put inserts in my shoes due to plantar facitis an neuropathy! No inserts needed for these shoes.
GOOD shoes
Bought these because i needed new shoes to use for heart path cardio rehab they are working like a champ so far. I am 7 weeks out from having a quadruple bypass and walking in the neighborhood and treadmill 1.5-2 miles a day
