The helmet was fine but the entire rental experience was awful. I came in on a Tuesday to get probably fitted for an adult package. The young man helping my teen son guessed on his snowboarding boot size when they didn't have the next size up. I made the rental purchase online as instructed and picked up on Saturday. The young man didn't have our gear despite my online receipt that said everything was available for pick up. In the end, the snowboarding boots didn't fit and they didn't have the snow boots. Fortunately we were refunded but had to go out and buy some at the last minute. The place and experience was so chaotic and nobody seemed to want to help the young man who was struggling that we just left without trying on the snowboarding boots. Once up in Tahoe, those boots didn't fit and we had to pay to rent from the resort. I was very frustrated. We may never rent from sportsbasement again after this experience. Nobody seemed to know what to do during this known very busy season.

Size small for our 7yo. Fits perfect, no complaints wearing it all day.

To me it felt like the rental helmet did not undergo proper cleaning - there were a few strands of hair stuck in the helmet mesh. Besides that, no complaints !
