Any rental gear used at Burning Man must be returned clean and in rentable condition. If your gear is returned with playa dust on it, you will be charged our full replacement cost.
There is no sales tax charged on SB Rentals (Save ~10% compared to other rental companies!)
Note that the primary renter will need to be present at pickup. They will also need to bring their valid ID and a physical credit card. Be prepared for a $0.01 charge to make sure we have your card on file.
Description
Bear canisters are a necessity in the backcountry, and even required in some areas. These durable and highly bear-resistant canisters will protect your food so you can think about other things.
Large Capacity:
- 11.5 liter / 700 cubic inches
- 2 lb. 9 oz. or 3 lb 10 oz depending on model availability.
- 7 day supply for one person.
Small Capacity:
- 7.2 liter / 440 cubic inches
- 2 lb. 1 oz.
- 4 day supply for one person.
Bear canisters should be cleaned prior to return to avoid possible cleaning charges.
