Great Spikes!
These are great spikes for safely walking in the NH woods. One thing I found was that I had to get a bigger size than was recommended. I wear a size 71/2 and the website said I should get a size small. They didn't fit so I had to return them and get a size medium. If you have pretty heavy boots...

Soft rubber breaks
These spikes lasted about half of a season of ice fishing. They were on pack boots and fit fairly well. You definitely wanted to put these on in the house where they are warm and get them on good. I wouldn't even try to get them on outside. The rubber stretches great. Maybe too great. It seems...

Kahtoola Microspikes help you get a grip
These attach easily to you boot/shoe and work great on a frozen lake or icy trail.
Stop Face Planting and Buy Them!
They work great! Stopped me from face planting more times than I cared to count. The only ice cleats that stay on winter boots and offer a significant hold on icey trails. Highly recommend
Great traction
These microspikes are fantastic. We've had a very icy winter and these stand up to dangerous conditions when most spikes fail. They are sturdy and comfortable.
Very Helpful!
After hip replacement surgery, I felt very secure with these as I trudged through the snow.
Serious Ice Cleats
Looking forward to using them this 2024-2025 season. I walk daily 3-4 miles on a dirt road that accumulates ice coverage in winter months. The spike depth (3/8") are large and should be strong enough to prevent slipping on icy surfaces.
Kahtoola Microspikes
I own one pair of these already and find them to be excellent for light to moderate hiking. If you're climbing in the Presidentials of the White Mountains in winter, you might want even more aggressive spikes. A very well made product, produced here in Maine. I use them regularly while harvesting ice commercially from Squam Lake, NH.
