Running Store and Collegiate Runner Viewpoint
I bought this new Kayano when it first came out because I am interesting in the 4D guidance approach to stability, rather than a medial post. The shoe now guides you towards running through the center of your foot, rather then pushing you towards center mass with dense foam underneath your arch. It ...

Immediate pain in bottom of my feet ...
I have been running with Gel Kayano for 19 years now. I buy the new model every year, and never had a complaint. Always loved the shoes, the fit, the feeling. No idea what they did with this new model but they hurt the bottom of my foot as if someone had lit a lighter under them. I might as well run...

Kayano running shoes
No support on the bottom, sides or top of the shoes compared to the Kayano 15 running shoe.
Great Fit
Huge Heal, but fits well. Wish it had a shoe horn tab on the back like the other shoes from Asics do.
Needs to have side to side be level
The shoes are sloped down to the outside. Is this a defect or by design? I want a shoe that is level from side to side and not have a downward slope to the outside, which can lead to rolling my ankle. The left shoe has more outside slope than the right. I love the increased cushioning, the fit and the stability of these shoes over my On shoes.
Gel Kayano 30
Great fit and comfort. Much better than Hoka Bondi 8 which were bulky and not supportive of side foot.
So so
I have filling that this shoes fit very nicely but even if wear this shoes with appropriate socks I can't feel my feet in comfort , have hot and wet filling.
Big Heel, But Great Big Cushioning!
Light, good air flow, and quite a lot of cushioning. My favorite pair of G-K30 yet! Seriously, I forget I have them on. Took me a while to get use to the big heel, but it's such a nice shoe, you gotta get the cushioning somehow. I'm no waif either, 275 lbs. is a lot to cushion, and I know it. Great shoe, get it and enjoy.
Shipping / USPS ; delivery take too much time.
Not possible make review or rate, Kayano 30; still waiting they arrive.
Asics
I been wearing Kayano running shoes for the past few years. The fit & comfort is very nice. When I do my longer runs. 3.5 miles or longer. I do not feel much pain on my feet. or knees. I do recommend these shoes highly. The Kayano 30 has a more comfort fit & stability , then the previous models.
Not So Stable
When I first tried these on, they felt great. I need a stability shoe due to plantar fasciitis & neuroma issues. This shoe is billed as a stability shoe, but now that I've worn it several times, I feel the opposite of stability. Maybe it's because of the cushioning, but I feel like my feet are constantly moving around inside the shoe as I walk. The result is more foot pain and not less. Now I have a basically brand new pair of shoes that I don't want to wear. Unfortunately Asics does not have a "comfort guarantee" like Brooks & Hoka do. I gave 2 stars because the quality of the construction and materials. (plus they look nice) I'm disappointed in this purchase and would not recommend this shoe as an alternate to the Brooks Beast or the Hoke Gaviota.
