WIDE FEET PEOPLE—THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!
I own five pairs of Hoka shoes, so you could say I'm a fan! My first pair wasn't in their wide fit, and my toes were jammed up—ouch. Loved the shoe, but I needed more space. Then I discovered the wide Clifton 9, and let me tell you, game-changer! I now own two pairs of those. Now, onto boots. I rec...

HOKA NEEDS TO MAKE AR 670-1 APPROVED MILITARY BOOTS
I bought these boots but ultimately had to return them as they didn't provide the high ankle support that military members have grown accustomed. I have spent 20 years in the military, in the infantry, which means that I march everywhere and can attest that Hoka has developed a cult like following a...

Comfort + quality
These things feel like you're floating. Absolutely love how they handle not only mud and rock, but also ice and snow. Was impressed when they held traction on snow covered trail. It also seems like nothing sticks to them. Mud, water, whatever you throw at it bounces right off. These things are gonna get a ton of use this summer.
Very comfortable
Using it as work boots and it's fantastic. Most comfortable boots I have ever worn. These are softer than my running shoes. Little expensive, but worth it. I just hope they last.
Awesome she
My son had purchased a pair for me 3 years ago and have been great. They recently tore, but it was the material, a piece of machinery snapped on the boot and pulled the material out.. otherwise I would still be using them work. They were water proof but the tear compromised the boot. I have another pair that has lasted two years now. I just bought these and my feet never hurt.
Long time buyer. Slightly disappointed. Not waterproof
Love almost everything about the new design, Ive worn multiple generations of these shoes and these are incredibly comfy. Sadly, the GTX is lacking or nonexistent. My Kaha 2s with holes in them are more waterproof.

Your pair should certainly be waterproof and if something doesn't feel right, we encourage you to send in your pair to be evaluated through our one-year warranty. You can learn more about this process here: bit.ly/HOKAWty.
Premium Hiking Boot
Comfortable, supportive, and the grippiest vibram tread I've ever used. But for me, the lack of breath-ability kept my feet too moist which led to blisters on day 3. I was backpacking with about 30lbs. Probably the most comfortable boot I ever wore.
Serious hiking boot, but not for all feet
I purchased this boot twice, because it has many of the qualities I want in a hiking boot. However, there is a design characteristic that simply does not work for my feet. I have somewhat bony ankles, and the upper brads (for laces) place a pressure point just forward of my ankle bone. On short break-in hikes this created discomfort and would have caused a bad blister had the hike continued for any duration. Hopefully Hoka will correct this issue to make a good boot better...

I finally found them
Casual hiker, im not doing the AT or PCT. But i appreciate my feet being able to make it through what i ask of them. So far these deliver. A small break in period, but not bad. I will buy again for sure so long as they dont change anything.
Tight in the toe box
Both my toes hurt when going downhill on hikes. Maybe I just need to return them for a larger size. I have the same size Bondi SR and don't have this problem.
An actual boot!
I've had several pairs of the older versions of the Kaha. I have chronic problems hiking because of some old toe injuries. The Hokas were the only boot that let me hike pain free. However the old boot felt like a sock with a giant foam sole. No ankle support, no toe protection and my feet would slide forward and smash my toes in the front of the boot when descending. I hike in the rough terrain in the Cascades and it was just a matter of time until I turned and ankle or broke a toe on the trail. I am happy to say the newer version actually feels like a boot, feet do not slide around, actual ankle support and toe protection. Now hopefully these will not disintegrate after 10 hikes, time will tell.
Hoka has ruined these boots
I've bought several pairs of the Kaha boots and have loved them, but the pair I received today feels like a cheap knockoff. The materials aren't the same and it definitely doesn't feel the same. Sending them back.
