nice shoe, but wore out fast
Bought these for my 12 year old son a few months ago. They were professional fit a local running shop to ensure good fit, because he pronates inward. He loved the way the fit and felt, but he quickly wore a hole in the big toe area and the tread on on the bottom wore away fast in places.

The reason I rated this shoe a 2 star is because on the right shoe the padding around the rim for the back of the ankle is down in the shoe. Makes it a odd fit.

I can run very well in these shoes. I have been running for almost 25 years now and 24 of those years were with Asics. I started using the GT-2000 just the past couple years and I really feel they are the best ones I have used to date. The knit version is very comfortable. Only issue is the knit shoe laces seem shorter than normal. Not an issue with the standard 2000s.

The upper portion of the shoe, towards the toes, is fragile and the knit gave away to form a hole. This happened within a fortnight of the purchase.
