Why'd you change it?
The FF Blast in the front of the shoe does not provide the support the Kayano 26 did using the FlyteFoam. Please go back to the FlightFoam on the 29 and also change the trusstic back to the way it used to be. That will be all.

Have had two pairs of 28s prior to this pair and they were great shoes. Great stability and enjoyed the bouncy and soft Cushion they provided. Gel Kayano 28 is my favorite kayano. After moving up to the 29, which I like as I have liked all my previous Kayanos, I prefer the 28 over the 29. The extra forefoot cushioning in the 29 was nice but I just like the 28 look and fit.

For two years in a row I bought the Gel-Kayano 27, which instantly cleared calluses and was easily the best shoe I ever wore. So earlier this year when I saw that they were out of stock of my size (and continue to be months later), I figured I would be safe to buy the Gel-Kayano 28 in the same size. What monumental difference could there be in a shoe by the exact same maker in the exact same size, in the same series of shoe? Apparently a big one, because after 10 minutes of wearing them I get a searing pain all down the left side of my left foot, and because I waited too long to try them out (my previous pair still had a little life left in them), I'm past warranty. And as the good pair continues to be out of stock, I guess I need to look elsewhere for shoes now.

28 changed collar padding fabric again, I have 27 and 28 same time, 27 for road walking and 28 for gem, however, 28 collar padding already wounded, then I recognize 28 used different fabric then 27 ( I had problem w/ Kayano (23?)because collar fabric damage so quick), so before you buy please check and i think 27 is way better!

This is a pretty awesome shoe. While I don't necessarily like the design as far as the sole of the shoe is concerned, but the comfort more than makes up for it
