Ushering in a new era of plush performance, this next-generation update delivers a revitalized underfoot experience with an additional 3mm in heel-to-toe drop. Delivering the same ultralight cushioning that made the Clifton a fan favorite, they’ve fine-tuned the fit and added a breathable jacquard upper with double-lace lock to mitigate tongue migration. Hoka refined the heel, enhanced the underfoot transition, improved the forefoot fit, fine-tuned the midsole geometry for an inherently stable ride, and added a double-lace lock that makes getting in and out even easier.

I moved from old Clifton 9s to these 10s and the loft and cushion is great. Fit is identical and remains very comfortable. I am on I am a 68yo walker and have no complaints at all.

Wow. Unbelievably bad shoe. HoKA was made out to be the holy grail for advanced shoes and for running but it does seem all buzz. The shoes are hyper soft and so uncomfortable for running. It's also very high stack and a high toe to heel drop so it's like you are in a flying trapeze....! What was Hoka thinking ?

Label on tounge of shoe tore up top of my foot

I have 3 pair of Clifton 9s. I had no problem wearing them with out socks. These Clifton 10s rubbed a blister on the top of one foot and tore the skin on top of the other foot wearing them for 7 hours. When my foot heals, I'll try wearing them with socks. I don't know what changed between the 9 and 10 versions.
It wasn't comfortable for me.
