Description

A trusted trainer for daily maintenance miles, the Clifton has been the keystone of Hoka's cushioned styles for 10 years and counting. Ushering in a new era of plush performance, this next-generation update delivers a revitalized underfoot experience with an additional 3mm in heel-to-toe drop. Delivering the same ultralight cushioning that made the Clifton a fan favorite, they’ve fine-tuned the fit and added a breathable jacquard upper with double-lace lock to mitigate tongue migration. Hoka refined the heel, enhanced the underfoot transition, improved the forefoot fit, fine-tuned the midsole geometry for an inherently stable ride, and added a double-lace lock that makes getting in and out even easier.

Toe box too shallow

I was really looking forward to the release of the Clifton 10. Having used the Clifton 8 and Clifton 9 as my running shoes the past couple of years, I was all set to keep running with Cliftons. And the Clifton 10 is extremely comfortable on the bottom with a nice spring. However, the toe box is more...

I am a woman who is completely disappointed in the colors for women in the Clifton 10. I love the men's blue (turquoise) color, so I decided to try them out! I wear a Women's 10 Wide in the Clifton, so after 3 tries I discovered that the Men's 9.5 Wide were perfect. So happy!

I've been wearing Clifton Model Hoka's since the Clifton 2. I have many pairs and wear HOKA Clifton's 365 days a year; for dress up I have Black Clifton's. The new Model 10 is great and has put a new bounce in my step.

I bought the "Clifton 10" in the hopes I could have a comfortable shoe to wear to work, since I'm on my feet all day. The product page said it was ideal for medical or construction workers (people on their feet a lot) and with the brand's reputation and the reviews saying they were amazingly comfortable, I decided to buy a pair. When I first put them on, they felt a bit odd. I can feel that there's cushioning, but it provided negligible comfort. I thought they just needed some breaking in. But after wearing them for two days they provided no more comfort than any shoe you can buy for half the price. Would not recommend, and will return if I can.

Having a pair of comfortable shoes for work is imperative to help those hours fly by on the clock. Let's change the game plan and have you return this ill-fitting pair to our warehouse for an easy exchange. The window to send your pair back is within 30 days with our guarantee which is extended to 60 days for HOKA Members. I've worn 3 pairs of HOKA's. The Clifton 9 was my last pair and although I liked the feel at first, part of the outsole ripped off. I tried to continue to use these but ended up getting blisters because of the lack of padding that the outsole provided. I tried to reach out to the HOKA customer service but they claimed it was "normal wear and tear" which was not the case whatsoever. They ended up ignoring my follow up messages. Unfortunately, I am looking at other running shoe brands now.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

When you feel your pair doesn't hold up the best, it can surely be discouraging. Due to many different factors such as terrain, frequency of wear and natural elements, some pairs may wear quicker than others. Although we do cover manufacturing and material defects, normal wear and tear is not covered under our warranty.
