Way too big!
I bought these to wear in dress shoes and bought the recommended size. I usually wear medium in Smartwool (shoe size 6.5-7). I've tried wearing small before but with the bit of shrinkage over time, they end up too small. So medium has always been perfect. But these are way too big. I've washed them ...

I bought these to wear in dress shoes and bought the recommended size. I usually wear medium in Smartwool (shoe size 6.5-7). I've tried wearing small before but with the bit of shrinkage over time, they end up too small. So medium has always been perfect. But these are way too big. I've washed them twice and put them in the dryer to try to shrink them (which I never do for wool socks), and they're stil too big. I would recommend sizing down if you're on the lower end of the size range.

I wear this as a sock rather than liner. They are comfortable and wear well. It is a looser knit than I was expecting, but they are still comfortable.
