Our very own super awesome, hella talented Sports Basement Staffletes have been getting out on the snow all February to test out upcoming skis for the 2021/2022 season - and report back with their findings. Let's hear about of a few of their favorites:

The Mantra, Volkl's powerful favorite, is back for another iteration and hungry for turns. All staffers who tried the Mantra M6 reported an awesome time with grippy, burly turns for all terrain.

Another all around staff favorite, the Reckoner had Jared, Dave, and Devon giddy. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how fun the Reckoner was, good for goofy good times in the snow.

The Mindbender series is aptly named. The Y shaped frame underfoot gives an incredibly sturdy yet floaty ride. It's indescribable, but I hope you get to try them yourself. Devon and I loved every second, and came flying into the demo booth with big smiles and a reluctance to give them back.

The Blaze from Volkl, coming in both Men's and Women's specific styles, are stiff and sturdy for a powerful ride. They cut through variable snow and stuck into deep carves.
