Perfect size for every day use! The strap is super comfortable and can be adjusted, the inside holds everything you need for a day at the beach (I do not have children though) and it stays cold all day. It did not keep my ice pack frozen for more than 36 hours but as a daily use cooler, I don't really have a need for more than a day which it did just fine!
