Backpacker's Pantry Indian Rice Pudding
A traditional rice pudding with almonds and raisins, spiced witih an exotic blend of cardamom, orange peal, and honey. Makes a fantastic breakfast or dessert! Low Sodium. Soy Free. 13g Protein per serving.
Preparation: Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. Add 1-1/2 cups (360 mL) of boiling water. Stir well. Seal and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Stir and serve. For a make-ahead cold dessert use 2 cups (480 mL) of water and let hydrate for several hours. Rehydration time doubles every 5,000 feet of elevation gain. Our directions are set for 5,000 feet.
