2019 Halloween 5K presented by Sports Basement

Saturday, October 19, 2019 - 9AM

Join Sports Basement for the 2nd annual Halloween 5k: a very special (and spooky!) 5K race to raise funds for one of our oldest and dearest partners! 100% of proceeds from race registration and sponsors will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF). BGCSF is committed to inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Sports Basement shares this commitment to youth and our communities.

Whether you're looking to do your personal best, looking for an excuse to dress up or just want a fun day with the kids in the park, there is something for everyone. Come for the race, stay for the after-party at Sports Basement Presidio! There will be food trucks, music, games and great deals throughout the store and much much more!

"Everything Sports Basement does is awesome . . . I ran the 5k to benefit Boys and Girls Club and it was a great course, tons of of support along the way (even though it was just a 5k!) and a great after party with kids, costume contests (it was Halloween), great food and beer, and a huge turnout of runners and friends and family. Sports Basement is a great example of how a great company culture makes an organization that is a pleasure to interact with on every level." Manda G, TripAdvisor 5 Stars

Limited parking may be available at the Mason Street Warehouse Parking (new lot across from East Beach), the Main Post920 Old Mason St. Parking, and near Crissy Field CenterAll is first come, first serve. The Main Post is less than a 1 mile walk to the start, so plan for an extra 15-20 minutes. Due to limited parking, we highly recommend utilizing car services like Uber and Lyft to avoid having to locate parking. There will be monitored bike parking as well at the Sports Basement.

How can I confirm my registration?
To confirm your registration, please visit our Registration Look-Up. Please allow 24 hours after registering for your confirmation to appear in the results.

How many water stops and/or aid stations will there be along the course?
